Frederick Law Olmsted was born in Hartford, CT and grew up exploring the Connecticut River Valley in his youth. To celebrate his 204th birthday, Mark Roessler will present three talks about Olmsted in towns along the Connecticut River. Each speaking engagement will discuss the findings in his new book, “Fairsted,” about how Olmsted became inspired to be a park designer, but all talks will be tailored for each particular location. Hope to see you there!
